TITLE:  BravoEL 6233/6266/6300 Lotus cc:Mail8.0
 
 
ISSUE 
 
   When installing Lotus ccMail 8 on the BravoEL 6233/6266/6300 
   systems while LANDeskClientMonitor is installed, the system will 
   display the following message:
   
     "C:\Windows\system\mfc42.dll This file is in 
      use by another application and cannot be 
      updated. Please close all open appplications 
      before continuing."
   
   This issue affects the following systems: 503571, 503599, and 
   503600.    

 
BACKGROUND 
 
   N/A    

 
ACTION 
 
   To resolve the issue, perform the following: 
   
   1. Uninstall LDCM.
   
   2. Install Lotus ccMail 8.
   
   3. Reinstall LDCM from the HD Restore CD.
   
   To reinstall LDCM, run SETUP.EXE from the Bravo Restore CD which 
   is located in the following directory:
   
       D:\Appln\LANDesk\Client
