IRQ selection is obvious. Connector type uses row C for Cheapernet(coax), row E for Ethernet(15-pin D) . Control port is selected via DIP switches 5,6,7,8. They follow a straight binary sequence as follows: OFF OFF OFF OFF = 200H OFF OFF OFF ON = 220H OFF OFF ON OFF = 240H etc...... ON OFF OFF OFF = 300H (default) etc...... ON ON ON ON = 3E0H Boot ROM address uses DIP switches 1,2,3,4. The sequence is: OFF OFF OFF OFF = C000H OFF OFF OFF ON = C200H OFF OFF ON OFF = C400H etc...... etc...... ON ON ON ON = DE00H DIP switches 9,10 and links J6 & J1 control boot ROM as follows: OFF OFF OPEN OPEN = 8K (2764) OFF ON SHORT OPEN = 16K (27128) ON OFF SHORT SHORT = 32H (27256) ON ON OPEN OPEN = disabled J4 installed for WD8003E type, removed for NE1000 / NE2000 type. J5 removed for normal PC/AT bus timing, installed for odd-balls. J7 controls 8-bit or 16-bit data path selection (i.e. NE1000 / NE2000). The manual says installed enables "auto switch mode". Experience suggests otherwise...... You may need to experiment
