Last modified on Fri Oct 3 10:48:30 1997

Title File Size Graphics Sound Cracked? Boots? Runs on: Comments Extras
Alleycat 35 KB c P y n all One of my very first pleasent PC gaming experiences. Run fast if you want to jump higher!
Avoid the Noid (EGA version) 231 KB e P,a y n all This is the rare EGA/Adlib version
Bad Street Brawler 62 KB c,e,t p y n all This is the full 16-color version, not the broken 4-color version that's floating around. Also has cool intro.
Batman, The Caped Crusader 175 KB e,? p ? n ?
Batman: The Movie 379 KB c,e,v,t ? y n all
BattleZone 42 KB c p y n 8086 Great port of the arcade game, considering that it runs on a 4.77MHz machine.
Body Blows v p,a,s ? n 286+
Buck Rogers 29 KB c p ? y 8086 Diskshot
Conquest 34 KB c P y n 8086 Joust clone, made by Windmill software (same people who made cool DigDug clone Digger)
Death Sword 53 KB c p y n all EXCELLENT fighting game for two friends--my friend Brian and I used to play this for hours! (you can play the computer, but it's not as much fun)
Dig Dug 19 KB c p y n all Runs okay on faster machines, except the joystick support is messed up.
Digger 56 KB c P y n 8086 A cross between Dig Dug and Mr. Do, this game was very popular in the 80's. Play this off of a floppy disk only!
Double Dragon 2 544 KB c,e p y n 8086,286
Double Dragon 3 544 KB e,v p,A,X y n all Good Adlib music conversion by Vibrants
Double Dragon 414 KB c,e,t p y n 8086
Dragon's Lair 1 3.63 MB e p y n all The first conversion of the popular laserdisk game; ega graphics only, no sound, but hey: it fits on 3 disks. :)
Dragon's Lair 2 2.78 MB c,e,v,t P,a,s y n all This time, they got it right. A new graphics and sound engine provide amazing animation playback even on an 8086. This was officially labeled #2, but it's essentially half the puzzles of the arcade game.
Dragon's Lair 3 4.49 MB c,e,v,t P,a,s y n all More of the same, but while this is labeled #3, it's really a full port of Dragon's Lair 2: The Curse of Mordred. All new action.
Frogger II (Three-Deep) 68 KB c p ? y 8086 Arcade game by Sierra in 1983
Galaxian 13 KB c P ? y 8086 Didn't display anything on a VGA card, but worked fine on a real CGA card. This is the official PC port of the game, approved by Tengen.
Gauntlet 120 KB c,? p y n 8086 Buggy port of the arcade game
Ghostbusters II c,e,t p,a ? n all
Gods 1.04 MB v,e,? a,s y n 286+ Bitmap Brothers game
Gremlins 34 KB c p y n 8086 Based on the movie. Extremely rare.
Heavy Barrel 349 KB c,e,? p y n all This is the unprotected 1995 release of this great arcade game (original quickdos version was 1988)
Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom 93 KB c,e,t P y n 8086,286
Jackal c,e,t p n n 8086,286
Jr. Pacman c,e p n n ?
Jungle Hunt 40 KB c p y n 8086 "Official" translation of Jungle Hunt for the PC. Buggy...
Llamatron e,v S y n all Excellent game by Jeff Minter, of Tempest 2000 fame; clone of Robotron, but with extras
Marble Madness 213 KB c,e,t p,t y n 8086,286 Excellent port of the arcade coin-op by Will Harvey (Music Construction Set, The Immortal
Ms. PacMan 22 KB c p y n all
Operation Wolf c,e,t,v,X p,a,t ? n all Great 1st-person shooter, if a bit difficult
Pinball Fantasies v P,a,s,X n n 286+ Amazing graphics and sound for a 286 and higher
Pole Position 2 129 KB c,e p y n all
Purple Saturn Day 522 KB c,e,t,v P y n 286+ Oddball game where you're in an "interstellar competition." It's really a set of 4 well-programmed action games, which are definitely worth playing. The digitized intro music is very well done. Boxshot
Manual
Qix 195 KB c,e,v,t,h p,A,t,? y n all Excellent port of the classic arcade game
Rampage c,e,t p ? n all
Rampart 883 KB e,v p,a,s y n ?
Renegade 429 KB c,e,t,v,h,X p,a,t y n all Port of the Arcade Game
Revenge of Defender 464 KB c,e,t,v p y n 8086,286,386 Defender, but with many enhancements. You will need a slowdown utility if you have a 486 or higher, unless you play the EGA version, which runs at the correct speed (this is because the EGA version uses seperate video pages and page flipping to animate the sprites, and there's a physical limit of 70 fps when you pageflip--the other modes write directly to the screen, and run way too fast on faster machines)
Roboman 49 KB c,e,t p y n all Jumpman clone from XOR Corporation
Sega Hits (dir) c,e,t P y n all A multi-game package: Alien, Afterburner, Outrun, Shinobi, and Thunder blade
Sidearms 54 KB c p y n 8086 Tough game; don't try to play it without a joystick
Sky Shark 500 KB c,e,t,h p,a,t y n all Port of the arcade game
Space Ace 1 2.49 MB c,e,v,t P,a,s y n all Like Dragon's Lair 2 and 3, Space Ace is an excellent conversion of the arcade coin-op laserdisc game. The animation and sound are excellent, but the gameplay is a bit frustrating.
Space Ace 2 3.11 MB c,e,v,t P,a,s y n all More of the same (every scene from the coin-op that isn't in Space Ace 1 is in Space Ace 2).
Spy Hunter 25 KB c p y n 8086 A conversion of the arcade classic.
Striker 50 KB c p y n 8086 Cool clone of scramble; very well programmed for its time.
The Light Corridor 200 KB c,e,t,v p,A y n all Cool 3D game where you bounce a ball down a corridor. Another quality Infogrames game.
