Sold alongside the VGA Integra in 1990 was the Basic-16. Where the Integra was a 512 KB card, the Basic-16 was the budget 256 KB version.

The VGA Basic 16 was designed to be the budget offering based on their latest [at the time] 28800 chipset. Its PCB layout was similar to the VGA Integra but it used a cheaper RAMDAC.
It only supported the basic 60 Hz refresh rate VGA modes (same as IBM VGA standard from 1987), and came with only 256 KB DRAM which was not upgradable.
